Actress, radio host, video creator, lyricist, music teacher… and the list continues.
Ava loves to try and explore different things in different fields. She started playing piano when she was young and became a certified Performer. She became active in the Toronto Chinese community as a solo performer as well as in a girls’ group since she was 16. As an actress, she has appeared in the casting promo video and performed a soundtrack for the first Toronto-based Chinese film. Currently majoring in Radio & Television Arts, she has acted and directed short videos for school, and aspires to become a director/PD.
She hosts Weekend iPlay, a Mandarin segment airing every Saturday, where she injects a youthful perspective to the hottest gossips and scandals, introduces interesting events and restaurants, opens the line to heart-to-heart talks, and recommends the latest pop song hits.
